Here as of late....
I have added a set of round Fog Lights (ebay) and an OEM type switch...
As well as changing out the stock Head Lights... They pretty much were worthless and even more so, after I added the fog lights..
And
A set of used tube step bumpers... (ebay)
They really set off the JEEP.
Last weekend, we made it camping. Used our Jeep to pull our 6'x10' enclosed trailer to the camp ground...
It's really nice to have everything in one contained unit.
Maybe one day.... we'll get a small pop-up camper, but for now... the WELLS CARGO trailer it great!

chasing thing around the jeep
last week, I had the pinion seal replaced on the there axle... due to a small drip under the rear end...
Had it fixed and NO issues...
now, last night... I come home and find a puddle under the front differential housing - reaches from wheel to wheel...
so, it's back to the shop and getting it fixed today....
As much as I love this JEEP, I'm not exactly thrilled at this moment....

our new Jeep
on May 25th 2010 we bought our 1st Jeep in years...
it's used, but new to us....
It's a 2002 Wrangler X
It's Maroon with black interior....
71,000 miles
we decided to sell our motorcycles and buy something that had multi uses...
My wife is presently using it for getting to and from work (she's a HOME HEALTH Nurse)... Some of her visits will be much easier now... We live in the middle of no where and some of her patients live even deeper in the middle of nowhere than we do...
The Jeep was purchased sight un-seen off Ebay (other than pics)... It was from a dealer in Rockford, IL (3.5 hour drive - one way)... When we arrived to pick it up, it was late in the day... so, I didn't check it over nearly as much as I should have...
There were a number of small things wrong and ended up being a couple of bigger things wrong too...
there are no intentions to go off-roading... it will be great to have when the weather isn't nice out...
presently, I have replaced several items and have a few more to track down...
One thing we'd like to add is some step bumpers, but there isn't a big hurry on that...
And sometime before winter... a set of fog lights....
My wife loves it!
My girls love it!
I love it!
Honestly, for what I paid for our Jeep - I haven't been hurt.
It's not perfect, but it's ours!!!!

- A/C - low & high fan only - resistor
- broken A/C vent
- check engine light - came on as I was heading out of town... (o2 sensor)
- felt darty... broken sway bar links
- 1 distorted rim (couldn't true it up) and one completely bent rim (spare) - Ebay & found 2 good used rims...
- 1 deep gouge in the right rear tire & spare was complete JUNK (had 31 10.50 15 when we bought it) for what it was going to cost to replace the 2 bad tires, I decided to replace all 5 tires... but in the $$$ game, it was cheaper to go down to a 235 75R15 tire...
- various gaskets & door light switches & underdash lights
